After all the pie...

I posted already today...27 weeks and 5 days pregnant! I throw in the 5 days because I look sooo huge! I'm turned semi sideways so I promise this isn't totally accurate! Hahaha wow...Well there ya go! Imagine this is only two weeks since the picture right below...Enjoy my lovely belly! I do!

My Thanksgiving Post

Ok so I took this picture by myself so that's why I look like poop...The angle I took the picture from makes my middle torso look grossly huge and then my head is tiny. At least I hope it's just the angle...mahahahahhaha. Sad. Ok so that was umm...about 25 weeks when I took it. How am I always so far behind with these things! By the end of the day I promise I will take some pictures that are real time!

I can't wait because later this afternoon we will be having a family reunion of sorts with my cousins J.P. and Jace whom we never get to see! Thanksgiving was sooo yummy! I ate WAY to much so in my next picture if I look fatter that's why! Just kidding it's all the baby's fault! My sister and her kids are here visiting from New Mexico so it's been chaotic with her 4 girls running around! Of course we really miss my Mom but we've been able to talk to her twice through Skype. The connection was pretty awesome considering she is in Indonesia! I'm very sad I couldn't have Dougie here with me for the holiday but we kept in touch through text message! His family took him a nice big dinner at work and they even made him his favorite spice cake! (he won't touch my favorite pumpkin desserts!) I personally made an apple pie and pumpkin cake thingy from the ground up! I was so proud of myself cause they both turned out amazing! All in all it was another good holiday in San Manuel!


This year i've certainly had my ups and downs but no matter what I remain thankful for every one of lifes little blessings! I am thankful for my relationship with Doug and how amazingly we fit together. I am thankful for this little man growing inside of me and can't wait to meet him! I am thankful for my family no matter how hard that can be sometimes. I am thankful to have such wonderful and supportive friends backing me through all this turmoil. Finally I am thankful 2009 will be over soon because no matter what it was a year I will remember forever but am trying sooo hard to forget!

New Moon!

I crack myself up...Not that i'm super fond of Taylor Lautner or anything I just like the idea of his character. I read the books long before the movie was set to come out and from the very beginning I fell for the Jacob character. I just think he's sooo funny and I LOVED the part of the books where you hear things from his point of view...HILARIOUS! The first movie was underwhelming but New Moon was pretty awesome! They did a great job following the sequence of the book and that's what I like to see :)! By the way did anyone else really love Dakota Fanning as a vampire...for some reason she had me at hello...or whatever other creepy stuff she said!

I feel so bad I haven't been on the computer to keep things updated! I started the 3rd trimester today and so far it's bliss. Haha just kidding. Laying down, or should I say getting back up!, is so much harder for me! I have two little itty bitty stretch marks in my two piercing holes...haha no one can really see them but I know they're there! I'll get some better updating with pictures done soon!

Trykk or Treat!

YAY FOR CANDY! I took some really cute pictures when we went trick or treating and of course had to share our fun! What an awesome weekend we had! I feel so blessed to be with Doug and his family on such a great holiday! I wish my sister was closer so I could go trick or treating with her kids but these are my surrogate neices and we like to spoil them! We came out with a ridiculous 410 pieces of candy!!!! Imagine that it was really only two little girls out knocking on doors so jeepers that's a ton! Me and Dougie dressed up too...well sorta haha! Oh and I put a little picture of the 24 weeks belly...that was after like 8 pieces of candy! Mahaha no seriously it's gettin bigger by the day! I can't wait to meet this little jumping bean!

What I SHOULD be finishing in my spare time!

So I've been working on these two pictures for my cousins kids and I thought maybe I should post them on here so my Mom and others could check em out! For some reason the blog keeps flipping the one picture sideways and I don't get that but oh well you get the picture! This one I posted is the painted version and the other one I'm doing is done in sharpie markers...it's done with a technique called stippling. These have taken me almost 5 months now and it's mainly because I keep getting side tracked! Anyone who knows me will say I have trouble with follow through hehe :). Well lemme know what you think...these ones aren't done yet and I'll post pictures of the other version a little later!!

Our little pumpkin sunday!

I love Halloween! I told Dougie we HAD to get pumpkins to carve this year! I haven't done it in soo long and I felt like I was possibly missing out on something. We went to a cute little pumpkin patch and picked out 4 of the most awesome pumpkins. Of course then we had lunch haha before we went home and spent like 3 hours carving! It was such a good time just hangin out and making our little masterpieces. His mom joked that we should make the pumpkin "Trykk or Treat!" for the babys name so I traced that out on there and Doug carved it! I think it came out sooo cute!! Our sons first pumpkin! (P.S. it already wilted soo bad because the letters were so close together... :( BOO!)
The baby is such an active little thing and he makes me laugh every morning when I can see him rolling around in there! I feel like I have soo much to do lately and my stress level is steadily moving up! I know I shouldn't stress but it's not easy not to! I absolutly have to finish the shower invitations cause I had planned to have them out by the second week in Nov. For some reason all my projects are getting soo off track! I have another appointment next Mon. so i'm way excited about that cause I really need to address my panic attacks with the doctor. When my anxiety starts kicking in I panic because i'm afraid i'm in some way hurting the baby! Another form of stress...ugh just gotta clear that up! These pregnancy hormones are nothing to joke around with!!

Me and Dougie...oh and the little baby in there (my boobs make my tummy look soo small but trust me it's not!) ! Doug was soo tired that day and I made him carve half that out for me which took FOREVER! Ha poor guy!

Loving every kick!

So I feel like I have absolutely NO TIME lately! I've been super busy getting things organized and working every other day puts a wrinkle in things because every time I get a project started I get cut off by work! Starting and stopping projects is soo hard for me because I've always had trouble with follow through haha :). The baby is kicking up a storm lately and sometimes it even makes me kinda sick to my stomach because he does it so much for so long! Last night Doug finally "saw" the baby kick for the first time. He'd been trying soo hard to feel it but it's just not connecting haha! I really think he is trying to hard so all he can feel is his own pulse.

The other day I was laying on my back relaxing and I figured maybe I could watch my stomach to see if I could see the movement. Well I got a little bored staring at my stomach so I switched back to TV for a few minutes. Suddenly I could feel him again so I looked back to my belly and not 20 seconds later I saw him kick real hard to the left of my belly button! It was sooo strange looking! I instantly called Doug to tell him and I couldn't help but cry a little...then I was slightly creeped out haha it just looks so weird! He was excited to hear about what I experienced but he doesn't really believe me cause he's never been able to feel it so last night I made him stare at my stomach and after about 20 minutes he moved and Doug saw it!!! He was like "Are you kidding me?! That was the baby doing that!? WOW!" He was talking to my belly the whole time trying to convince him to move for Daddy haha. It was a good moment. I wish they had a space for that in his baby book!

Ok so explanations on these pictures...the top one is me at like 19 weeks? I'm at 22 now so it's bigger of course! I look sooo small in some of the pictures I look at...then I see myself in person and I'm like WHOA slow down on the eating turbo! Haha just kidding. It's the baby! The middle picture is a bunch of friends/family at Nightfall out at Old Tucson Studios. It was super dusty out there so it looks like theres fuzz in the picture. Doug thought he would be sooo funny by making it look like the creepy clown was cutting his head off with a chainsaw. I think he just looks silly...what a night that was!!! Oh and then this picture to the right is my belly up close haha. I just thought my old piercing holes look sooo funny now that I took out the jewelry. It looks like eyes and then little nostrals and my bellybutton is the mouth haha. I'm sure it's only gonna get worse!!
