Mr. Trykk is 2 months old today! He is thriving...eating like a horse and trying his best to talk! Today at the breastfeeding support group he weighed in at 10 lbs. 5.5 oz. Ha what a little porker. Well normal but I say porker because that's a 13 oz. increase from last wednesday. Almost a whole pound in a week! Good boy!
Unfortunately his mother isn't making any progress on her baby weight LOSS! I try my old pants on about one a week and still they aren't anywhere near fitting...UGH! To be honest I haven't really altered my eating which is definitly the issue. I eat TERRIBLE! It seems like I am always being faced with sweet stuff and I can't say no. That's bad. So i've started walking, riding bikes and eating better. I really hope that starts to make a difference because I can't imagine buying all new clothes. Please tell me i'm not the only one who has struggled with baby weight! I swear every where I look girls are just right back to their old sizes! :( I just keep telling myself I can do this! Progress will be made!

Hi Momma, Well let me tell you that it's going to take time and will power. It's only been 2 months. Be patient!!!!!!

Oh Amie, don't fret! I did loose my baby weight by 3 weeks, but that was only on the scale. I'm down from my pre pregnancy weight and still not in my pre pregnancy clothes, explain that one. Be patient and just remember that the weight is a small price to pay for a perfect baby! =)
ReplyDeletewith both my girls it took as long as it took to get them here to get the weight off. 9 Months! Exersize is pretty much the thing that took my weight off, and if you eat junk food(which I've never been able to say no to either), just add on a few extra minutes of working out that day :)
ReplyDeleteYou'll get there love!
hi amie
ReplyDeleteanother thing that happens (that i didnt know about until i started asking around because i was having the same issue) but i guess with breast feeding some people loose weight while they do it and others dont loose weight til they quit nursing. so if it doesn't happen right away you may have to wait a year. my little one is turning one is 2 weeks and i'm weening him right now so i'm hoping the pounds start melting away hahaa i guess we'll see. dont get frustrated - you'll get there one way or another!!
I was lucky and breast feeding helped me lose weight. I also started exercising (not excessively at all!)almost as soon as that 6 week mark hit. I would cry trying on my old jeans because they did NOT fit me for MONTHS! I came to a point where I just knew I would have to throw them all out and buy new clothes and then all of the sudden they just fit again, (yay!) It took me a good 6 months for the scale to be what it use to be but now I struggle keeping it there. Before I never had a problem, honestly I could do nothing and eat anything and the scale would hardly budge. I hate that I have to work at it now, and I hate that my stomach will NEVER be the same... but I love Ella and would do it all over again in a second.
ReplyDeleteGood luck lady! You'll get there. You look fabulous already, honestly in your pictures with your little guy you look so happy and beautiful! LOVESSSSS.
