I left off with the cervadil being ordered to get my cervix softened and that night was complete torture! Those beds are so uncomfortable and seriously every time I would get into a comfortable position they couldn't hear the babys heartbeat so of course I had to move again! I probably slept like 2 hours! Annoying! Well finally 5 am rolled around and they said hey here we go it's time for the the pitosin! I was super excited to hear those words...Well as they started watching they couldn't administer the pitosin right away because I actually started contracting on my own soo I actually went into labor all on my own...that baby was READY! So at 5 am I was about 2 centimeters...after an hour of intense contractions I had progressed to 4 centimeters! That's a pretty quick little jump if you ask me. I gave up at that point and said give me the drugs! They came in and gave me the epidural...with Doug looking in my eyes and squeezing my hands I made it through that experience. Man what a relief! As soon as that hit me I was able to sleep for about and hour and a half. The nurses were soo amazing the whole time I really don't think I could have had a better experience! I finally woke up at about 8:30 or 9 and they were ready to check me again. As soon as she put her hand down there she was like "Oh wow...ok"...so um yeah ok what's that mean. During my little hour and a half nap I had moved to 8 centimeters! Holy cow it was really happening!!!! Doug and I looked at each other like this is it! I cried and I know he wanted to...our baby was really on it's way! The nurse immediately called my doctor and said if I kept going the way I was this baby would be ready in no time so get there! Ha well while she may be an awesome doctor she is never very prompt so the next two hours or so we just waited. The nurse checked me again and never really told me where I was I think mainly because they didn't want me to panic or push because if I did the nurse would need to catch my little man! As soon as the doctor got there I was ready but not really...I was sooo scared! We have video of the whole thing and you should see my face. I look totally petrified. Doug had to keep telling me "You can do it babe!!" So here goes nothin she told me to push and I did...With one push I had half of his head out and of course they wanted me to touch it..yeah uh no guys really i'll pass haha! Sad but I just couldn't do it! Doug didn't want to either ha. So with one more contraction and another 3 pushes or so he was out! Totally in shock...I could not believe how incredibly perfect he came out...what an experience! I am changed forever!

This is to long and I love everyone for all their wonderful comments about the baby! Here are 3 more pictures Becca took for us...we are so blessed :)
